Workshop 1: Introduction to Materials and Patterns

• Discover the materials and patterns used in Papel Picado.

• Get hands-on experience with the unique fabric provided, measuring five feet wide by six feet long.

Workshop 2: Design and Cutting

• Complete your design and begin the cutting process.

• Learn techniques to bring your vision to life through intricate cuts.

Workshop 3: Finishing Touches

• Complete the cutting process and learn how to iron and display your artwork.

• Showcase your creation and celebrate your artistic journey.

We will start with a 30-minute discovery call to determine the measurements of your piece and pick the dates for your workshop. Materials:

Upon purchasing your class, Karina will mail you a roll of paper cloth (cut to your custom dimensions) to create your Papel Picado with.

You will need to supply for yourself:

1. Excel Knife

2. Replacement Blades

3. Cutting Mat - should be as large as the surface you are working on
